tripadvisorI made my first booking in Austin, TX for my anniversary. They called the day before to say it was cancelled, so I had to scramble to plan something also for my anniversary. I rescheduled with Spirit for my partner's birthday, which is tomorrow. And today they called to cancel! Once again, I must now find something else to do for a special occasion in less than 24 hours! This company is terrible and I am pursuing a refund with Groupon.
MoreI purchased this Ghost Tour with great excitement back in March 2014 on Groupon. I decided to wait until June to go when the kids were out of school. A few days before my June tour, they cancelled saying the tour guide had quit in the Dallas location. Fine. I waited longer and rescheduled for August 2014. Once again the tour was cancelled a couple days before but they did offer for me to go on the Ft worth tour if I decided. I agreed. This past Friday night my 2 kids and I got to Billy Bob's at 9pm and there were only 5 other people waiting. Around 9:15 pm I notcied a guy around 45 yrs age stumbling towards us dressed in all black with a flashlight shining in our faces. He said are Are yall here for Ghost Tour? We replied yes and then he went on to say he was sorry he had to cancel because his arm had alot of puss on his elbow and he was drunk where he could hardly stand. He kept apologizing and I was really disappointed. Here I was really looking forward to this tour but once again it did not happen. He told us Hey they only pay me $25 to do these tours and I made up the whole tour myself with the stories. He kept saying Don't tell my Boss... over and over. Beware this is not the tour company to go with what so ever! If you did not get refund thru Groupon I recommend you call. Good Luck!
MoreThey cancelled one Saturday but let us know so we rescheduled for the next Saturday. Then it was just a no show. CLUELESS. This just is NOT a professional organization. THERE ARE OTHER YOURS AVAILABLE. JUST SKIP THESE GUYS
MoreThe first tip should have been that it's a Oregon based company leading a ghost tour of the stockyards in Ft. Worth. I could go on and on about how bad this tour was but to sum it up, halfway through the tour the guide started reading restaurant menus to us and historical markers that are mounted on buildings. At this point we decided to take a bathroom break and everyone declined to finish the tour. There is another tour company in the stockyards who is local. I would highly recommend them (went to on it last year). jump on google and avoid this Oregon based tour company at all costs.
MoreThis haunted tour is more of a waste of time. The tour lacks a haunted history. The stories told were more so just about people being killed and of locations seeming creepy. The tour guide gave misinformation about general information like, the area has a cattle drive once a year though they have one twice a day AND train tracks were pointed out that haven't been used in more than 30 years, though they are used daily. The website says... A stop and ghost hunt at 2 locations, using our equipment, is included in your ticket price! ...there was no ghost hunt. We did stop inside a few locations to look around. The equipment consists of two wires that you hold and ask a question out loud (or you can even just think of a question as the guide told us) the wires will cross for a no or move apart for a yes. I wasn't impressed. Half of our group left before the tour was over.
