tripadvisorWe went to Ann Arbor to see a comedian (Hannah Berner). Our seats were on the balcony level. Unfortunately, it also provided an unobstructed view of the theater's ceiling. Such a stately entity deserves more tender loving care. The team at the location was wonderful. They were very pleasant and helpful.
MoreMichigan Theater is a historic venue located right on campus in Ann Arbor. I remember coming to this theater as a student and seeing Tori Amos. They're still showing movies, concerts, and live performances. This is a great place for both students and community members to come for events. Be sure to check out the fairy doors behind the ticket booth for a little magic. When I recently visited with my family, I was shocked to see that my favorite movie clueless – from 1995 – was billed as a classic! That made me feel old.
MoreWent to hear that Ann Arbor Symphony play John Williams's music. Scores from ET, Star Wars, Jurassic Park, erc. Venu is a historical theater and is an excellent venue. Staff was great, music was excellent. Good time.
MoreOn a lazy Sunday afternoon, we chose the Michigan Theater to see the classic movie: Anatomy of a Murder.Jimmy Stewart was incredible. The theater was displaying some wonderful art pieces. It is a wonderful place to see a classic movie. Incredibly well maintained.
MoreAggressive, morbidly obese black woman at front desk area was supremely rude. It was my first time visiting. So incredibly awful to experience this. Won’t be back..
