I'm a retired teacher who has always loved cats and always wanted to work with cats. Before I care for a cat, I visit the home and take notes about each cat's likes, dislikes, food requirements, and all important information about the cat. Pet sitting allows me to care for and play with my feline friends, while making sure they are well cared for. I enjoy meeting cats, and most cats take to me very quickly; I think they can tell a true cat lover, often allowing me to pet them and hold them. I like to check in with each cat owner a few days before I am scheduled to feed the cat to confirm the departure and return dates. I also keep in touch via text for people who like to get updates about their pets. I treat each cat as if he/she were my own, knowing how I would want my cat treated if the situation was reversed.
