tripadvisorMy wife and I have been coming here for many years. It has always been very convenient to our lifestyle and consistently high-end. We both get massages and my wife gets facial treatments. After all the renovations at the club and hotel, the spa still leaves a lot unattended. I feel management has not done a great job in keeping this place current and in good repair. As a long-time client, the renovations here seem to have been purely superficial. The AC still doesn't work in all the rooms and in these the whole affair (you and the masseuse) can get pretty sweaty. Several rooms have massage tables that are stuck so pray the height of the table matches the masseuse or your experience could suffer. My wife has had the jarring experience of her table dropping slightly mid session. In most rooms the audio system hasn't worked for years so you often get phone bluetooth speaker music. It looks like they have tried to update this system but it seems nobody knows how to work it. Some of the cooler boxes they use to keep towels hot are absolutely disgusting. Take a peek and don't let them put those towels on you if you're in one of those rooms. A few more hacks; get yourself a free upgrade and ask for a full time masseuse. The overall level of service is much better, and still one of the best anywhere. Don't be afraid to ask questions and get their advice (services and facilities); their insights can be uncanny. I feel a drop in staff enthusiasm, but the service is still excellent from the experienced Four Seasons staff. My wife always books the assistant director (Season?) for facial treatments. Not sure why sr mgt allows an AD to still do facials, but she will frequently have to interrupt her service a little early and you will be compensated with free products. My wife was the hero of Christmas gifting ridiculously expensive spa products to friends and family. Get a glass of their flavored water after your service; it's excellent and refreshing. If you get a hot room, the cold plunge after is an excellent offset to feeling overheated.I have almost worked out the set of masseuses and rooms to book and avoid and will update here when I get it all lined out. Getting the right masseuse is easy but getting the right room can be a challenge. If you get those right the experience is absolutely amazing. If not, it can be a letdown. As a management consultant, I think the downsides here are mostly management financial control decisions so hopefully those will get better with time and feedback.
MoreWonderful and relaxing spa. Staff was very kind, courteous, and professional. Best massages we have ever had! Highly recommend!
MoreHad a wonderful day here with great technicians. Cita was very warm and personable and gave a top notch pedicure. My massage was excellent and I also had a wash and blow out. (Didn’t get their names). I’ve been to many spas and yes, this one is a bit tired in the salon, and amenities a bit lacking due to Covid but I have no complaints. The spa area is what you would expect. The service was outstanding. I will go back next time I am in Dallas.
MoreWe arrived 15 minutes late for a massage because we couldn't get done with out lunch on time upstairs (waiting for check and what-not). We were told our 50 minute massage would then just be 30 minutes. The right thing to do would have been to just cancel the appointment rather than charge me a full $350 for a couples massage that only lasted 30 minutes! That was fully taking advantage. Plus, it's a 5-star hotel. They need to plan to have extra therapists on hand in case people are late rather than giving terrible service and shaming you for being late. I then received the worst massage of my life (well second to worst) because the lady was rough and going so fast it actually stressed me out rather than relaxing me. I told them the service was bad at the front and they gave me a discount and said they would get back to me but didn't. I'm very disappointed. Not to mention the spa itself was NOT 5-star (or 4-star). It was in very much a need of a renovation. I was SO disappointed. And don't want anyone else wasting their time or money.
MoreThe lounge area is pleasant and has a nice hot tub. You can get a glass of wine or a cocktail delivered between services, if you want. They also have a nice spa lunch. The showers and hair styling/make up area are clean and functional. Pricey, but you get what you pay for.
