MoreI have had to be on 5 different flights in the last week and the Alaska flight from Fairbanks to Seattle was by far the best experience ever. Everyone was so nice, from check-in, TSA, Stewards, to listening to the Pilot. The plane seats are roomy and comfortable. I wish all my flights were that nice.
MoreMy 12 year old son & I had the experience of a lifetime on our flightseeing tour of Knik Glacier and Chugach Mountains with Alaska Air Service. Bill was extremely helpful (and patient) helping us secure a last minute reservation. You can tell they pride themselves on customer service. When we arrived at the hanger, Bill took the time to show my son our route on the map and talk planes with him (my son desperately wants to be a pilot when he grows up). Safety is their top priority and it showed from start to finish. Bill was very informative, an excellent pilot and always checking to make sure we were comfortable on our flight. The views of the glaciers are breathtaking. I really can't put into words how beautiful the flight was. My son says the highlight of the tour was dropping down into the glaciers and the remote landing. I whole heartly agree, this flightseeing tour exceeded my expectations.
MoreWe booked AlaskaAir to travel from Maui to San Diego on 21 August. Given the tragic events in Maui, we’ve had to cancel our trip. I called and spoke to a lady called Stephanie who was quite possibly the worst person to have a job customer service. She was so rude .Not a word of compassion to my comments regarding the unfortunate events occurring in Maui. Refused to process a refund even though travelling to/from Maui I isn’t advised unless essential. Her rational to me was that it was subject to non cancellation. I advised her that it wasn’t cancelling for convenience as it was essential. Her response was as rude. She was offered a credit Note which is no use given we live in the UK.Alaskan airlines capitalising on airfares that they are unable to honour. I will be seeking. Legal advice.
