We enjoyed our stay. Check-in was smooth and easy, and staff was available to assist us 24/7! The room was spacious and comfortable. Also there was a microwave n fridge, everything we needed. The location is superb - even though we had parked our car, we were able to use public transportation and walk to many places on foot. Would highly recommend!

I have been staying at the Chariot Inn for years, and it is always my go-to spot when I want a clean, comfortable and relaxing night. And the owners are very friendly and helpful! I would highly recommend it for anyone!

I made a reservation with this motel by phone on Thursday, July 30. I spoke with a staff member named Mike and provided my credit card information for a five-night stay. I was told that the room was reserved for me.I also received a written reservation confirmation from the motel. The confirmation clearly shows my reservation number (3157), check-in date of July 31, check-out date of August 5.I arrived at approximately 8:30 PM on July 31, expecting to check in. However, the female staff member at the front desk told me that there was no reservation for me. I showed her the confirmation email/document that had been sent by the motel.She then told me that they had called me earlier that day but could not reach me. I checked my phone and had no missed call from the motel. I also showed her the message/confirmation I had received that morning regarding my room.What was most frustrating was that, instead of acknowledging the discrepancy or trying to resolve the situation, I felt that I was being given different explanations for why my confirmed reservation was not being honored. She appeared completely comfortable giving me these explanations even though I had written documentation of the reservation.Because of this situation, I was left without a room late in the evening and had to spend additional money on Uber to find another hotel.I am posting this review because I want the owner/management to be aware of what happened. If a reservation is confirmed in writing, guests should be able to rely on it. If there was an issue with the reservation, I should have been contacted and informed before I arrived—not left to discover the problem at 8:30 PM.I strongly recommend that anyone considering staying here keep written proof of their reservation and confirm directly with management before arriving. This was an extremely stressful and disappointing experience, and I would not want another traveler to find themselves in the same situation.
