Staff was super super sweet and accommodating, let us check in a half hour early after an 8 hour drive. Rooms are clean and comfortable.

The room was good , but the beds were uncomfortable.

This is a good place to stay. The room was very outdated, I feel like 80s or early 90s, and there was an area where the wallpaper border around the ceiling had come off. But the room was extremely clean and in good condition for being so outdated—smelled great which is major. I also read in some reviews that they had been renovating some floors so I’m hoping they get to do that with all floors at some point. The beds were comfortable and all the amenities in the room were great. The lobby and pool areas were well designed and cared for. The hotel is conveniently right next to the freeway so it was easy access for us to get to universal studios. The Glendale galleria and a lot of restaurants are not far so that was great. From what I could tell the area seems like a nice area for the most part. The staff was friendly. The only thing I didn’t care for was the elevators had a really strange smell. It smelled strongly of grass and lawn weed cuttings, not very pleasant. Overall we would stay here again.

I really had a great time staying here. I found the old building and vintage flair charming. The staff were kind and everything was clean and comfortable. The pool and hot tub were nice, clean and relaxing. Being able to do laundry on site too was a nice bonus. I love how safe, quiet and nice the area is. Very walkable to Glendale and public transit. I’ll definitely stay here again!

Needed a little larger kitchenette room for a 12 night stay within a reasonable distance from several locations in Los Angeles, Pasadena, & surrounding area. This property fit all the criteria on a budget. They have one large kitchenette room (refrigerator, microwave, table w/two chairs, sitting chair & extra floor space) per floor along with many regular rooms. The room was clean & spacious with a balcony. Housekeeping was upon request but front desk staff was able to give necessary renewal of toiletries & towels in the meantime. Laundry facilities were available, clean, & front desk was able to give quarter change for operation. Plenty of elevators for a large property. This is an older property but they are doing renovations & the upgrades already made make it seem newer. 24hr staff were all very friendly & helpful. Coffee, tea, fruit cups, & breakfast bars were complimentary every morning & well stocked. The pool was clean & easily accessible. On site self parking was available for a minimal per night fee & plenty of available spaces even when at capacity. Glendale area was very nice. The hotel is nearby the Glendale Galleria Mall for shopping & restaurants. Also close to gas stations, an Erewhon grocery store, & plenty of other restaurants nearby.
