We stayed at the Cambria and walked here. The beach access is open, but the parking lot and the restrooms/restaurants are still being worked on from the storms. Great beach area even without them open.

Very easy to park here and enjoy the beach which was a quick walk from the parking lot. Parking is metered but it wasn't a big issue doing in from the phone. They also have food and facilities available.

Nice beachfront park access. Parking fees grrrr.....$2.50 per hour. There are restrooms, picnic shelter and volleyball courts on the beach. We wanted to come back and watch a sunset but missed out because I was tired of paying parking fees. There is no where in St. Petersburg to walk on the beach for free unless you stay at a beachfront resort or hotel.

The park has food, restrooms, volleyball, hammocks and a very clean beach with miles to walk in either direction. Great for families; parking lot fills quickly during busy times.

Archibald Park is wonderful place. The beach is beautiful and not crowded. There are Chair and Umbrella rentals as well as a restaurant.
