Standing stoically among sprawling, mature blankets of oak trees, the Gerald D. Hines Waterwall Park (formerly known as Williams Water Wall) has amazed visitors since its 1985 opening. The Waterwall sends 78,500 gallons of water down its face every three hours and two minutes, utilizing a recycling mechanism that continues the torrent until the lights are turned off at the end of the day. Visible from many of downtown Houston's buildings, this attraction has become something of an icon with locals. Perfect for a romantic stroll, picnic, or reflective moment, Williams Water Wall is a great stop in the area.

tripadvisorThere is zero parking at the park. No on street, handicap, garage. There’s a parking garage with a low clearance. We have a ford pickup. The waterfall is pretty. We could see it through the trees.
MoreBeautiful place to relax and rejuvenate, the peace and calmness. Very good place to take some great clicks. The mist from the water fall freshen you.My best place was among the trees where I sat and watching and feeling the air.
MoreI have seen the Houston Water Wall described as One of the most stunning features of the city. Given Houston's endless highways and strip malls I suppose this could be true. The Water Wall itself is a corporate curved concrete fixture with thousands of gallons of water running down its exterior and interior. There I have saved you a trip and the $10 parking fee.Truly a monument to nothing, and a feature that in any other major city would be an afterthought.Total experience time varies by person, but I'd estimate the average person could experience the Water Wall in 2-3 minutes.
MoreThe Waterwall is a cool spot to see and take photos. It’s a giant waterfall with a nice park area where you can relax or chat with friends. It’s not much else beyond that, but it’s definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area!
MoreVery cool place right by the Galleria shopping mall. I did not expect it to be soooooo tall. It is also makes you feel cooler because of the mist in the area. This area was one of our favorites on recent trip to Houston
