We joined about 50 other family members here for a Saturday afternoon of picnicking and a softball game. My cousin rented the field for 3 hours at a very reasonable cost. The fields were beautifully kept, with high fences for backstops and bleachers. The area next to the field was shaded with picnic tables. There are lots of nearby restrooms which were very clean. There is a small nature preserve, and a nice playground area for the children. This is a great place to spend the afternoon.

We live close so we walk here several times a month. Nice trails and good hills for walking. Always lots going on in the park so you can watch or take part in lots if activities. Great patk.

I have to say that I ENJOY this park. It is safe; many times of the day/morning there is a cop keeping watch for the visitors safety and comfort. Definitely recommend to anyone that loves nature like I do!!!

I highly recommend this park during daylight/dusk hours for dog walking. There are more people there during ball season but even in the winter it's well lit and felt safe. After dark I don't enjoy it as much.

My wife and I love Rockwood. I have been going since I was younger and not too much has changed which is a good thing. We love using the trails and there are always plenty of people playing sports and using the dog park. The park has been maintained very well in my opinion. While it is not new by any means it is still a very useful park and I would recommend it to anyone.
