Opened in 2002, Scott School houses approximately 550 students in kindergarten through grade seven. Its academic curriculum includes programs in reading, writing, language arts, mathematics, science and social studies. The school additionally has art, music, computer science and physical education specialists. Scott School also offers Title I and English as a Second Language programs. Its staff is comprised of psychologists, paraprofessionals and counselors. The school provides several health care services, such as medications, immunizations and screenings. In addition, Scott School offers a prekindergarten program. The school is located in Harrisburg, Pa., and is a part of the Harrisburg School District.
