This unique structure has glass walls on all four sides, with certain rooms that afforded a 360 degree view. Awarded the Best Hotel in NYC 2008 award by the London Times - but when you see the rooms, and the views, you won't even need high recommendation.

tripadvisorNoel really cares and did a great job making us comfortable and feeling at home !
MoreTHE BIGGEST hotel rooms in NYC! Hotel Rivington impressed me from the moment I walked in. Such a clean, minimalist, beautiful esthetic. But what really captured me was the warmth you feel immediately after arriving from the streets of Lower East Side. The staff is genuine and incredibly hospitable. It was a quick first trip, but the perfect intro to my new go-to hotel in NYC!
MoreMy fiancé and I had an extremely passive and disappointing experience with this hotel’s customer service regarding a reservation cancellation and refund.Due to an unexpected family death, we made multiple attempts to cancel our reservation well before the cancellation deadline. We contacted the hotel through several ways, including the third-party booking platform and the hotel’s own email addresses, specifically to provide advance notice and handle the cancellation properly. Our messages continuously went unanswered. After two months later of the booking date, even longer when we tried to get in touch, we received an automated response indicating that a one-night cancellation penalty had been applied. Despite our documented attempts to cancel in advance, the hotel has continued to maintain the penalty, which is preventing the refund. We also tried calling the hotel using the phone numbers listed on its website and in staff email signatures, but were unable to reach anyone who could help resolve the issue!!What makes this experience even more frustrating is that we made a genuine effort to communicate with the hotel in a timely manner after going through a traumatic situation. The penalty appears to have resulted not from a lack of notice on our part, but from the hotel’s failure to respond to our requests.I understand that hotels have cancellation policies, but customer service should include active communication, and responding within a reasonable timeframe, Guests should not be penalized because their attempts to communicate go unanswered. It shows that management does not take our concerns seriously. Based on our experience, I would not book with this hotel and go somewhere with better management and customer experience.
Morei love staying at hotel on rivington! the staff is exceptional and they treat both my and my dog, rosie, which such great care. rosie especially loves all the treats and attention she gets from everyone!i usually am traveling for work and have a number of boxes shipped directly to the hotel. they are always happy to help receive and let me know when i have had a package delivered.i typically drive in and having the parking lot located on the same block is convenient. special shout out to Karina, Dery, Sara, and Jessica!
MoreStayed here twice and both times my experience was absolutely top notch. The view from my room was gorj... the room itself was super comfy and the location is the best! I slept like a baby because of how silent it was, albeit i was on one of the topmost floors. The only thing I'd probably suggest is to have a microwave/kettle in the top notch rooms for late night meal heating and coffee etc. However, whenever visiting NYC next, this is def my go to stay.
