It was an okay room just in a very bad location. Other then the area it was a big size room very private good parking and close enough to a lot of stores and restaurants. Very friendly service and the room was decent.

Depends what you are looking for. 1st off its not a run down neighborhood. Its a working class neighborhood. If you want a fancy neighborhood go to Malibu pay $250 a night. Clean quite place. No need for alarm clock rooster in the neighborhood wakes up. Good for one or two nights. Sign on front door says no prostitution which is good keeps the hos and pimps out.

Run down neighborhood but the motel itself clean and spacious room. Good parking and free wifi. No Hair Dryer or Iron in the room.Shampoo and Conditioner were in a pouch, the package material was so strong that I can not tear off the package after 5 minutes struggle.

I stayed here on a trip to Universal Studios when all other hotels were over $200 I paid about $70 for two queen beds. The parking was secure and there were security cameras. The nice lady that checked me in walked the parking lot several times looking around. There is nothing to do, or see Iin this neighborhood. There are a some fast food restaurants close by. The room was clean, the TV worked and had a basic cable package. This is a good choice for a basic hotel where the prices are too high in the fancy neighborhoods. There was coffee and packaged muffins in the morning, the Ice machine operated for a quarter. I would stay here again.
