Betty was our tour guide who was wonderful. She was born and raised in Fort Worth and grew up near the stockyard. She gave valuable information and history about the area. I would highly recommend this tour if you have interest in how and why the stockyard started. The tour was very affordable and took 90 minutes.

Great views and great history, everywhere you look there are things that you don't always associate with Fort WOrth!

Interesting bits of history and building there in downtown which included the last stop that JFK made before fateful trip to Dallas. There is park dedicated to his memory. Old buildings hold many stories of historic events and those memorable characters that made. Pleasant walking tour, but most are closed to public and are working businesses. We kept asking for a few ghost stories, but that was not what our guide was familiar with...different tour for that.

I've gone on the downtown walking tour twice with friends and family. Charles does a nice job of weaving tales of history and architecture of the downtown area. His personality entertained all of us. The downtown tour lasts a littler over an hour and is a great way to introduce guests to the city of Fort Worth. The cultural district was led by Brendan and was outstanding. This three hour tour covered the Amon Carter Museum, Will Rogers Memorial Center, Kimball Museum and Modern Art Museum. Brendan is extremely professional and his knowledge of art and architecture is unbelievable! He increased my appreciation of the art by sharing the context of the piece as well as the history of the artist life. This is probably one of the best tours I have done in Fort Worth!

We hit the highlights in the city center, though time constraints did not allow for the Water Gardens and Burnett Park, which are great to visit on your own time anyway so you can spend as much time as you want there. Although I’m not from Fort Worth, I still found the info shared to be interesting for any visitor. It helped me appreciate the city's beginnings and history, where before it was just a place that was just a blip on the map.
