tripadvisorWe spent about three hours in downtown Fargo mainly walking on Broadway. The area is well maintained. There are lots of shops, coffee shops and restaurants. We ate lunch at Sammy’s pizza and had coffee at Moonrise cafe. My wife did go into some shops but did not buy anything. Parking is a little tricky but free of charge for 90 minutes on Broadway. After the allocated time, you need to move the vehicle to a different block. I moved the truck about two blocks away from Broadway where I was allocated four hours of free parking. We enjoyed ourselves and may go back and watch a show at the Fargo theater.
MoreWe visited here on a road trip. We sought-out and found some good signage in downtown - next to the old railroad station. It was a bit neglected and there were a few poor souls asking for money. But we were glad to have visited here
MoreIt was a rainy day when I was here so I didn’t walk around as much as I would have liked. But it’s a nice midwestern downtown area. Shops and places to eat.
MoreDrove around downtown Fargo it was interesting older buildings, lots of stores and restaurants - fun trip to look around the area
MoreI'll keep it short. Too many street people who at times are a problem. Also, there has been too much litter and it does reflect bad on Fargo's image.
