This company was very easy to work with and patient and flexible with a few changes that we needed to make. No high pressure sales, just great personnel who helped find the trip that we wanted!

Alaska Tours was very easy to work with. We chose a pre-configured package that included car rental, hotel, and several excursions. Whenever I had questions, they were answered promptly; they never had to be asked something twice. I had a change of hotels that I wanted and they handled that request for us too. We had no issues with any of the reservations that were made on our behalf, and all of the hotels and excursions were very good. Wouldn’t hesitate to work with them again or refer a friend.

We had a great first experience in Alaska thanks to Alaska Tours. Our main goal was to see the northern lights and found a 5-day trip within our budget. Alaska Tours handled all the logistics (booking excursions, lodging, and transportation) and were available by phone and email to answer any questions I had. Going with a company for a trip can be more costly than booking for yourself but we wanted a more relaxed trip and Alaska Tours helped take out the guesswork and research for us and let us enjoy exploring Fairbanks. September is a beautiful time to experience the fall season and good weather. It wasn't too cold or too warm. It wasn't as crowded either which was great! There were some overcast forecasted during our trip which did reduce our chances of seeing the northern lights BUT that just means more trips to Alaska in the future! I will have to note there are rideshares available but it can be costly. Depending on how many towns or parks you like to visit or explore, I would consider renting a car. Cell service was limited for T-mobile but At&T and Verizon seemed to work much better.

We had an awesome experience on our Alaska Tour! We saw Anchorage, Fairbanks, Denali, Sheep Montain, Valdez, Seward and much more. We took the Alaska Railroad (glass covered car is a must!), drove over 600 miles through stunning scenery, took a sternwheeler tour to a native village, and took two excellent glacier tours. Scott Jones helped us plan our trip and provided us with outstanding customer service from start to finish. We really appreciated the very detailed itinerary that was supplied as we were able to stop at several extra places including the Anchorage Museum, Museum of the North, a musk ox farm, the Kenai Sealife Museum and an extra national park. We saw, moose, bears, caribou, orcas, puffins, sea lions, sea ottters, seals and more. We did not ever feel rushed and it was both a relaxing and exciting adventure! We highly recommend Alaska Tours for a truly fabulous vacation!!!

Had an amazing two-week adventure exploring three national parks. The itinerary and accommodations were great. Betsy took good care of me, and I am looking forward to more Alaska adventures with Alaska Tours.
