Seward Park is my happy place. You can see Mt. Rainier across the water on a good day. It's a great spot to go birding (raptors, wetland birds, and even owls!), mushroom foraging, mini-hiking, or running. There's an amazing old growth forest if you want to immerse yourself in nature for a bit. There's also plenty of picnic shelters for good weather events. It doesn't get too busy, but the drivers here are kind of careless, so just be careful when you're walking around.

An amazing view of Seward. Great for kids and families. The views are amazing and the parking is really easy to get in and out of if you have an RV.

Great place to come enjoy the lake or a hike through the woods. Very spacious with great views of surrounding area and Mt. Ranier on a clear day.

What a lovely surprise. Hiking in the city. There is a pave trail that goes all around the perimeter of the park along Lake Washington with excellent views but if you park at the very top, you can walk down through a beautiful forest. Super clean for Seattle. no homeless encampments. Great place to spend a sunny afternoon.
