Maxwell Park is huge. Tennis courts, Frisbee golf, fenced dog park, horseshoes, playground equipment and more. Well maintained area with plenty of lighting and parking.

Came here to explore the trails on the southwest side of the park. The entrance is across the bridge by disc golf hole 10. Began walking around the exterior ~1 mi and then the interior ~1 mile. Well kept trails and nice views for this dreary time of year. I saw many local species of birds, a heron, and a few rabbits. The interstate borders the west side of the park so it's not perfectly serene.

Along with other park attributes that this park has (jungle gym play areas, walking trails, dog park) there is also a very nice (yet open) 18 hole Disc Golf course. Nice lengths and a variety of challenging holes - good for all levels of players. There are a few disc leagues that play throughout all 4 seasons (yes even crazy Winter League). If you go all the way to the back, past the Frisbee golf, there are well maintained trails. That in combination with all the other features this park has to offer, make it a good fit for every member of our family.
