Small, intimate theatre - great place to see a performance. There are productions suitable for children &/or adults. We just saw Kinky Boots. Orlando Shakes shares a parking lot with the Orlando Museum of Art. If you have an account, you’ll receive a reminder text to arrive early if there are multiple events in the area.

My wife and I attended their presentation of Evita. Wow! Amazing, heartfelt, wonderful - there aren’t enough words to describe this fabulous performance. Definitely going back for other performances.

We went to see Orlando Shakes' production of Evita last weekend. What can I say besides WOW! Amazing talent! Great production! Beautiful little venue! It was our first experience with this theater and we were SO impressed by the production and the sheer talent of the cast. I am hard of hearing so I'm always having to find seats in the front at productions so I can hear and see to lipread as much as possible. Not only did they have special devices for people like me but I didn't even have to use it. The performers all wore microphones (why don't other theaters do this?) so everything was easy for me to hear and added so much to my enjoyment. We will be there for many, many more productions. It was worth the trip over!

The performance was AMAZING! Last night I took my tween son to see it. We had read the book and seen several portrayals of the story in different movies so even though the characters had wonderful British accents it was very easy to follow even if we missed a word here and there. The actors were wonderful and the way they utilized the set was brilliant. The actors played several roles which I thought might be a bit confusing but the changes were seamless. The costumes were perfect and the sound, lighting and special effects were exactly spot on. It was a fantastic show. I am so thrilled to live in a city where I can go out on a Wednesday night and see a performance like that. Bravo Orlando Shakes !!!
