The other day I came to visit the store to purchase a candle and one of the guests making candles got oil in their eyes! I understand that mistakes happen, but the owners know this can happen so why can't they make it safer? They really should consider providing customers with safety glasses or at least give them the option.

This was my third to visit to the Kalamazoo Candle Company and my last. They have raised the prices on the tin candles and they switched to smaller jars but still have them priced as the old ones that were bigger. Price gouging?!

The Kalamazoo Candle Company sells many wonderfully scented candles and does fundraisers for nonprofits. I have only had good experiences with them and would recommend them to anyone that wants a candle!

My daughter and I enjoyed choosing a scent and a container and then making our own candles. It didn't take long. We had a whole hour to use up while our candles hardened, so we explored the area and went into some shops. We returned and picked up our candles. I recommend this experience.

We experienced candle making for the first time at this location. We really enjoyed ourself. The number of scents to choose from was overwhelming. We made two candles each. The process was very easy and a child could do it. I was hoping it would be a little more challenging. The time to make the candle was 10 minutes or less.
