Oh my, this place is amazing. They did a beautiful job with the tribute to Veterans. The park is a place to sit and ponder. It is a beautiful place to walk around. They explained everything about the wars that have taken place. Beautiful tribute, the best I have seen in all my travels besides Washington DC.

The Veterans Plaza and the clean up around Teague Park has once again made this park worth a visit. In the past the park has been plagued by homeless residents and mentally unstable visitors who make their way from highway 80. You should be on your guard if you visit the park but it is worth visiting for the Veterans Park. The minature version of the Vietnam wall is the centerpiece but all wars and conflicts abroad are represented. I like to park in the small parking lot on East Park Street which is off of North Teague Street.

Came here after hearing about it online and it was a great choice. It is a beautiful park and the layout is perfect. This place is one of the best memorial parks I have seen in a while and is a perfect place to go with family or even by yourself.

I love what they have down to Teague Park, it has totally transformed the park to a Tribute to all Veterans.

Very pretty and well maintained. We went for Memorial Day this year and the older kids learned a lot by reading the various markers. The younger ones also got introduced to concepts like POWs and how many wars we have fought. The covered picnic area and playground made for a nice place to spend the day.
