I often work out in the fitness center below so I know about the theater above which is a good venue to see a show if you find something that appeals to you.

We were invited to go with friends to listen to this one man performance of C S Lewis talking to four writers visiting England from America. The performance was very good. It was very personable, filled with witty quips and anecdotes reminiscent of the late great C S Lewis. This show travels - If you see it playing near by - GO Go Go.The Marines Memorial Theater does have some memorabilia on display that pays tribute to the men and women who are willing to make the ultimate sacrifice for this country. The theater venue is intimate, less than 600 seats I believe and no bad seats.

The distance from the back of my sear to the back of the one in the row in front was about the same as the length of my upper leg bone. The person in front complained about me kicking his seat, but there was no way to avoid that. I will never return.

We went to see Stephen Lynch here. I had never heard of this place. We were pleasantly surprised by the small, intimate nature of this venue. While we had 5th row seats, I don't imagine there's a bad seat in the house. The only down side was they only serve beer and wine (no mixed drinks). That wasn't a deal breaker though, as it was a great night! There are plenty of great restaurants within walking distance if you want to make a full evening out of it.Warning: Parking rates vary greatly in the area. Do a little research before you go to choose the right lot.

This is a smaller theatre with an intimate feel. I've sat in many different locations and was never disappointed with the view or sound. There are nice historical exhibits of US Marine photos and artifacts scattered throughout the lobby, etc. that anyone will appreciate, especially Marines!
