This was a great charter tour with a knowledgeable and friendly captain. Sallie was great and will go again should weBe back in the area.

We as a family of 3 with a teenager had a brilliant time with Sallie and I would highly recommend an air boat trip with Dragon Lady Airboats. Sallie's knowledge and passion is infectious and we learnt so much. The swamp was beautiful and the peace and calm good for the soul. We also had the excitement and fun when we went fast and Sallie showed her skills. This is something I have wanted to do since a child watching Gentle Ben (if anyone has ever seen that) and this didn't disappoint. We saw only a couple of glimpses of alligators on our trip but this didn't detract from our trip , after all nature does what nature wants and the flowers and plants were impressive enough on their own. Thank you so much Sallie it was a privilege to meet you and share a small bit of your world. I would go back and do again in a heartbeat.

This was such a wonderful outing!! We didn't really know what to expect since I'none of us had ever been on an airboat or on a swamp tour. After a day with Captain Sallie, I had learned so much about airboats, the swamp, alligators, ecology, etc. It makes the tour so much better when your guide grew up around airboats since the age of 14 and has been doing this for so many years. It also helps that she's a former teacher and carries that into her job as tour guide. Captain Sallie was very responsive, answered all my questions during booking and took pictures for us and sent them to us immediately after the tour. This was truly one of the best tours I have been on in a long time. My entire group came away feeling that way and we would definitely do it again. I'd easily rate this higher than 5 stars if I could!! Thanks Captain Sallie!!

Capt. Sallie was fantastic. Her knowledge, kindness, and love for the ecology of the area really shine. Our teens and younger (11yr. old) greatly enjoyed the trip despite the animals being somewhat elusive. We still saw an alligator, a boat, and many birds. The plants, trees, and flowers were interesting to learn about as well. Time well spent.

Excellent activity if you are staying in Lake Charles or the vicinity. We were staying at the Golden Nugget for Spring break with 2 13 year old girls and looking to do some different things to keep them entertained...this was a great choice. Captain Sallie was not only kind, courteous, and knowledgeable, but her outdoor and boating skills left no doubt that she knows the area like the back of her hand and showed my family and I a wonderful experience. Fun, informative, and a stunningly beautiful part of nature that you would never see without the capabilities of Sallie and the airboat. The boat itself is large, comfortable, and really cool. From the first phone call until the end of the trip I felt so comfortable and well informed about this great experience. Don’t hesitate to give this a try! I’ll be going back soon and letting Sallie take my son and I fishing back in the swamp where no one else will ever be and cant wait.
