a reservation for my 90 year old mother in law following her granddaughters wedding. Got to the hotel and they said sorry, we gave your room away!! They said they called the number 3 days earlier (lie!) to inform her. Phone records indicate they called at1:30, today! Horrible.

Outdated hotel, with old damaged furniture, but bed was comfortable. Found a cockroach in bathroom. Housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful. Front desk, not so much. Breakfast was just OK, because it was limited with few options. Coffee was good. Outside was in disrepair and common areas were dirty. Elevator was inconsistent. It wasn't working when we checked in but was repaired by the second day.

The breakfast employee was working very hard on Tuesday 6-23-26. The Wi-Fi worked well and there was an outdoor pool. I would stay at this property again.

I stayed at the Hotel at Dayton South for 8 days at the end of December 2025. The price was quite reasonable and the hotel professionally run. My room was clean. The bed was comfortable and included multiple pillows. The room came equipped with a large TV screen with many viewing options. It also had a nice sized refrigerator, a microwave, coffee maker with pods, an ironing board and iron, a well functioning and powerful hair dryer, and excellent water pressure with hot, warm and cold water. I also very much appreciated the black-out curtain that slid to cover the full window. Reservations included a complementary breakfast that during my stay was offering scrambled eggs, sausage and potatoes. Parking is outdoors but plentiful. In summary, based on my experience, I highly recommend the hotel.
