After paying around $80 for a single concert ticket, I was anticipating a great evening with a great entertainer. There were two drunk men sitting behind me who would not shut up during the commentaries or songs. A person in front of me complained to the management twice, the men were spoken to, but their behavior continued. Another person complained, they were spoken to, and the behavior continued. I got up and went to the back of the theater, spoke with three employees who assured me that security was going to take care of the problem. Another person went to talk with the guys, but nothing happened. The person who had been sitting in front of me also came to the back, complained to management, and we were told that they couldn't tell who the guys were (even though we told them exactly what seats the guys were seated in, and they had spoken with them three times already) and wouldn't do anything about getting them out since the concert was almost over (seven songs were sung after that point). After the concert was over, I went and spoke with the manager in the box office and she assured me that something will be done about this problem. While I was there, three ladies who had been sitting next to me came to complain, as well as the couple that was sitting in front of me; all lending credence to my complaint. On my way out, I spoke with a security officer at the security desk and he had not heard anything about the problem we had experienced. Obviously the three management people inside the theater had not contacted security. The theater management's inability to ensure a pleasureable experience for patrons was deplorable.
