If anyone has been to Flagler beaxh further up the coast, you need to know that LBTS is nothing more than a bunch of restaurants and a few shops near the beach and pier, which eas still under renovations today (Feb 2025).If you plan a day at the beach, it's a decent area to food and needed beaxh supplies, but to us, that's all it was. We spent maybe 45 min there, no plans on going on the beach, and then left for the day. Nit much to see. It's just a beach community. No real activities except the snorkeling and such. If you aren't planning water activities, all you have are shopping and eating. Was impressed. Next time we will spent the 2.5 hrs and drive to the Gulf (St Pete or Treasure Island) with 10 times the activities.

This place has great views of the beach and water, it is wonderful for both tourists and locals to explore. One can simply sit and relax by the beach, enjoy a nice meal, go shopping, or even all of the above. It is a refreshing and relaxing place to spend an afternoon.

Cute area with lots of restaurants and some shops. Pier was closed when we visited. Right on the beach. We had the gelato shop and it was good!

We drop by that area every year in August.It offers good photo opportunity with the pretty chairs as backdrop.There is a webcam on the pavilion and one on the beach.There are nice showers to get rid of the sand.The pavilion makes a nice meeting place for a group as there are shaded areas, in case you need to wait or if you get caught in a downpour.The ocean is nice here, little seaweed, waves not too choppy.Parking can be problematic so plan accordingly.It is unfortunate that the beach and pier did not receive a serious upgrade such as the one in Pompano beach because we prefer LBTS to Pompano beach as far as the beach itself is concerned.

Lovely Sea-Side Pavilion. It was such a same that the area is under construction at the time of our visit but I'm sure the final results will make it much better than it already is.
