Wow - great cocktail bar, incredible drinks. Bartenders were super friendly, knowledgeable, and helped guide us through the cocktail list and extensive spirits collection. It's like a library of rare and hard to find stuff. Beautiful space, super clean, and the bathrooms were amazing!

We were about a half hour early for meeting friends for dinner after the Michigan football game and were wandering around Ann Arbor when we found this little gem. It was about 6 pm and the bar was starting to get busy. We walked in and sat at the bar. The bartender was very friendly and brought us both the happy hour and regular menus. I ordered wine and the husband ordered a beer. The bartender was very friendly as was the other one who chatted with us about the football game. Nice place.

We were walking and stopped in for a drink. We had to wait at the door and then be ushered to our exact places to sit at a counter. They don't let you just walk in and grab a seat. I'm not sure if they are trying to be all high class, but it was off-putting to me. The place was pretty dark but the bartender made a good drink. Not as friendly or fun as it should have been.

Recently went to the Nightcap in Ann Arbor. The wait staff know their drinks. Describe a favorite flavor profile and their recommendations were spot on. Want to experiment? They are willing to take the time to give recommendations based upon the type of liquor you enjoy. We enjoyed the service, ambiance and friendliness of the place. Great place to end an evening.

We hadn't had a chance to visit the new bar on Main St. yet... So for the lover's birthday we showed up with 8 more friends and spent a charming while. The place is striking in its minimalism: all of it a statement piece. Mono-tone palette, but not monotone in the slightest, with eye catching accents created with the clever lightning and sparse artwork. You will enjoy more than the atmosphere here... The cocktail list is short but compelling: any of them sounds awesome, and the ones we tried this time were boozy, tasty and yummy. Joseph, our ubercool bartender, offered us good suggestions and made sure we were all having a good time. A new favorite in Ann Arbor!
