Sargent's on 2nd Nurseries & Greenhouses

Sargents Landscape Nursery, Inc. has been active in the nursery and landscape business in Rochester since 1971. Sargents Landscape Nursery of Rochester is an outgrowth of a four generation family business founded in Red Wing, MN in 1928. In 1971 Forrest Sargent began the Rochester business on a small lot near what is now Wild Bill's Sports Saloon. In 1976, the business moved to its present 18th Avenue NW location, and in 1985 our second retail store opened on 2nd Street SW. Additionally, in 1992 Colours Flower Market was purchased and moved into the 2nd Street store. Today the business is owned and operated by Forrest and Faye Sargent and their son, Nick and his wife, Nina. Thanks to a customer base enthusiastic about gardening and excellent landscape design, and a dedicated and knowledgeable staff, Sargents has continued to expand and remodel throughout the years. By focusing on top quality plant material and related gardening items, we have steadily grown to become a major supplier of green goods and services in the Rochester area. With a fifth generation of Sargents already showing strong interest in the business, we look forward to providing great plants, excellent customer service, and creative design for many generations to come. Our services include: Floral Landscaping Garden Center Plants Trees
