Trip advisor review for Sunset Lakes (Villa Aurora)We recently returned from a holiday at the Villa Aurora, Sunset LakesKitchenFilter coffee maker filthyFridge interior shelving and drawers dirtyOven and hob were absolutely disgusting, neither used during our stay.Master bedroomRight hand sink extremely slow to empty and most likely blocked so unable to use from the first day.The safe is too small to store anything except passports. I was expecting a safe that could store valuables for a family of 6.Bedrooms in generalOdd sheets on bed in master bedroom that did not fit.Drawers dirty in all bedrooms and needed to line them before putting any of our possessions inside.No storage in small bedrooms due to boxes and boxes of goodness knows what and one wardrobe full of Disney dressing up clothes and needed to be removed to enable my 27 year old grandson to hang his clothes.The bedrooms in the front of the villa back onto a main road and there is a lot of road noise and this should be stated in the villa information. It is difficult to sleep in those rooms with the noise of the road and also the air con unit outside.The 2nd Master BedroomThis room leaves much to be desired. The ensuite shower shelves are rusty and covered in bacteria. The sheets has goodness knows what on it and there was rubbish on the floor. The bath mats in the room are also very dirty and need to be washed by us when the owner decided to get the washing machine repaired. (4 days after arrival). The floor also was not clean in this room.BathroomsAlmost all the towels in the villa were stained. There were no hand towels at all and had to purchase some at Walmart for our own use. Pool areaThere is a large hole in the bottom of the pool with more bits of concrete coming off every day.Black ingrained goodness knows what on the sides of the top of the pool, water feature glass green with algae and goodness knows what!! No alarm on the doors to this area even though this is illegal I believe.The fan outside is absolutely filthy as were the inside ones. Not caused by condensation as the owner stated but ingrained filth that must have taken years to build up.Several ants nests around the pool area.Two large holes in the lanai netting which had gaffer tape on to try and seal them.Air conThis is set far too high 76 degrees when temperatures outside were touching 104 when we were there. Totally unacceptable and needs to be re-evaluated. TV'sAbsolutely useless, so many restrictions on channels, couldn't even get CCN in the master bedroom!!!Front doorThe Brinks alarm did not work as if the door was left open it did not respond, I have a safer door on my garage. The spare key is in a box on the wall, when we arrived the key was in it but it was left open and unlocked.GarageThe timed portable aircon does not work, even after 1 hour the temp was still 86 degrees and the pool table is bowed in the middle, not level and not fit for purpose. GeneralAll of the ceiling fans in the villa were absolutely filthy, thick dust which had obviously been there for years and not cleaned. All of the towels needed washing on arrival as they were badly stained.Communication with the owner virtually non- existentThis villa needs a thorough deep clean as soon as possible, one standard clean will not be sufficient and was brought to the villa owner’s attention both during our stay and after our return. We hope that the owner will address all of the above items and update their literature and video tour to give a true reflection of promised items and features.I have photographic evidence of most of the above and can supply them if needed.

We travelled from the UK and stayed at this villa for our second time this May/June and yet again could not fault anything. The location to all parks and local amenities is perfect, close enough and yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle to relax after a busy day enjoying all that Disney offers. The gated community area is perfect to give piece of mind over security and is quiet enough to relax when needed. Communication between the owner and ourselves was always prompt and they reassured us that all matters would be sorted and taken care of, which they were. We cannot wait to book again and there is only one place we will be booking. Thank you for another great holiday.

Massive massive villa. Very very clean. Very near to parks, loads of restaurants/food places and supermarkets including Walmart and publix. Big clean pool and awesome hot tub. Cannot wait to go back. Owners are delightful to deal with and made the holiday that more special.

This villa is in a great gated location. It has plenty of space for a family with large rooms. Beds are comfortable and lots of storage. Negatives are it needs a deep clean. Looks like the villa has only had surface cleaning for a long time. Pool was filthy. Self catering crockery very sparse and a real miss mash of items like freebie and promotion cups.

We rented a villa here for two weeks. It is an amazing place to stay, so peaceful and you feel really safe with it being gated. We were less than 20 minutes from Disney world and minutes away from lots of shops and restaurants. Walmart was just down the road too. We would definitely stay here again.
