tripadvisorMy husband and I went to Grover Nelson Park on a Monday afternoon after visiting the Zoo that is next door. We park was not crowded at all. We saw a couple families and a few people fishing. The park had lots of waterfront along a lake. There was a gravel walkway along the lake, benches, ducks, geese, huge playscape, large spash pad, baseball field, dog park, pavilion, picnic area, restrooms and plenty of parking. The park is free. This park would be nice for a short or long visit.
