So happy it's open for visitors to look around. It was a nice surprise when I visited the Blount Mansion. I can't wait to see it again.

I decided to peruse the grounds of this historic home as I was passing. Located next to the Blount Mansion, it is currently housing the furnishings during the Blount renovation. If interested in this historic architecturally amazing house, you can view the grounds only until all is restored next door. It is definitely worth a few minutes of your curiosity as it was built in the late 1700's to early 1800's and is a historic landmark. Plans in the near future include opening to public tours.
