I think this was a very creative way to display trains within a real train. If you don't enjoy trains or have Littles, it may not be worth your time to drive out of your way However, if you're passing by or have time to kill its an inexpensive look at history and there is a train station across the way where there is other models set up and can take a ride on a real train.

Not as big as I was expecting. Only about 3-4 trains and a relatively small layout. But the accessories were nice. It's worth a stop if you are walking by, but I wouldn't go out of my way.

My husband who is a train ethusiast really enjoyed visiting the trains around Grapevine. An Amtrak stopped in town, blowing it's horn just as he was checking out the trains, so he was plesaed. If you have kiddos that like trains, or big kiddos, it's a great place to stop and makes a fun photo op.

The train station is really cute and historical. They also have a few trains in the platform. From a European perspective, there is nothing special in this layout.

It’s a great rest stop, comfortable and welcoming. Fun spot especially for families with small children. Cool layouts with wonderful classical and trimmings. Fun climb in trainings for little kids as well as a place they can try on vintage clothing and have your picture taken. It’s under the Clocktower in the welcome center.
