I live very close to this park but rarely visited until COVID. With the need to find new places to walk while staying safe I started walking here at least twice a week. The boardwalk through the swamp is always changing as well as the areas in the park area. It is a well frequented park so it feels safe walking around. The park grounds are well maintained.

08/09/20 Continuing our Covid-19 walks, one can start at the Billy Wilson Park and walk south through the wooded swamp toward Klein Road.One can take the kids to the playground and then take a nice walk in the shade. There are two swamps that one can see some painted or snapping turtle.It’s a nice relaxing walk on the boardwalk and trail.

Lots of parking and lots of kids for this fun and varied playground. Plenty of benches for parents. Also right next to a nature walk.

Great park for all ages. If you come with your kids there is plenty to do and dogs love the nature walk.

Renamed to honor a fallen veteran, Billy Wilson, beloved by all. A great park to hike, witness the foliage and wildlife and in the winter, sled on a hill.
