Great river walk. Includes couple swings to take in the sites of the river.

Pity Trip Advisor didn't mention the fish ladder was designed by an internationally known environmental sculptor who also designed the well-known fish ladder in Grand Rapids.

Love this spot. Love riding my bike through here or bringing my dog here on a walk. Really cool to come in spring time when it is all flooded

I'm from a dry part of the country where salmon have no chance, so it was gratifying to see that in Michigan fish get their own marvel of civil engineering. This is the second fish ladder I've seen on the Grand River (the other was in Grand Rapids). You can get to it from the RIver Walk trail, which is another great outdoor feature of downtown Lansing.

I had never seen a fish ladder before. Very interesting to see how it works. Right next to old town where good restaurants can be found. Nice park attached. Definitely good for a walk after dinner.
