A small park with a tiny beach , pay for parking and pay to enter the beach. Life guard on duty and always blowing the whistle because there are restrictions that ppl are not aware of. Area where swimming is prohibited, pass the flag then you will hear the sound. Of the whistle . Not a lot ppl there , mostly senior citizens with their grand kids. Water is cold in a 86 degree temp .. you will definitely get a sun burn under 3 hrs with no sun protection applied to the skin. They have a concession stand but it was open , but a bbq grill station next to concession stand . Walked in and no one was there . They had areas where u can grill. Saw a pink house near the lake, wonder if it’s an ice cream store? Play ground in different areas in the park .

Lovely visit to Glen Island Park. While this park is restricted to Westchester residents only...there were no attendants when I visited on a late Friday morning in November. This restriction may be during the peak season (Memorial Day to Labor Day) but I am not sure.Lots of parking in large main lot. Again, I believe there is a fee for parking but that may be effective during the peak season only.Lots of space throughout the park. Some tabled, grilling and gazebo areas throughout...some of which require reservations for. Lots of paths with great views of the Long Island Sound and the marina.

It was horrible! My 98 year old mother wanted to stare at the Ling Island Sound for 20 min. We only had $1 cash for parking. She had a senior permit but did not have $5 but apparently that is how much it is for seniors??? She has been a resident for over 50 years & only wanted to look at the sound for 20 min. Horrible how seniors are treated!!!

O M G. My daughter go married there last month. We never anticipated how unbelievable it would be. We hope for the best but let me tell you it was just amazing. From the time we entered the venue till leaving , everything was perfect. Rocco was our go to guy. Sensational. Went above and beyond what we could have imagined. I can’t say enough about him and how special he made us feel and of course my daughter the Bride!,,,,,, Everything was perfect. Her bridal attendant was the best one can ask for. She was in on everything making all the women feel relaxed, what ever we needed she went and did. The other shout out goes to the woman who greets you when u come into the venue. Sorry I forgot her name. Always a smile on her face and was always making sure we were good! Also the waitress who followed my husband was awesome. Getting him what he needed so he did not have to wait on line. If you are looking for a top notch venue this is the place for you. I can’t say enough great things. It was just PERFECT

Beautiful venue good food very helpful young staff But there are stairs and have to ask the staff for the hidden ramp. Was told by phone mobility would not be an issue. It is.
