The Heath House is one of three Frank Lloyd Wright-designed houses in Buffalo. Only the Martin House is open for public tours. The Davidson House is a few blocks away. The Heath House is another few miles away. It is the least impressive of the three. It seems to have been modified over time, the dark color of the bricks make it seem old and dirty, and the high shrubs and heavy foliage that lines the street make it very difficult to get good views of the house.

Privately-owned, impressive Frank Lloyd Wright-designed house built by Larkin Company attorney William R. Heath in 1905. Not open to the public. Worth a drive-by and brief stop.

Wright's first residential commission 1903-05 in Buffalo a precursor to the Robie House in Chicago. Although this is a private residence and not opened to the public, it is nevertheless a beautiful photo op and easy to find. Located not too far from the Martin House Complex on Jewett St., one of Wright's finest prairie style designs which is open for tours. For the Wright's enthusiast, check out the other architectural wonders around the Buffalo area.
