We go to Mehaffey Park several times a week with our kids. They have a large play ground with lots of places to climb as well as calmer rides for smaller kids. They have several covered areas for family gettogethers , a dog park, pickle ball and tennis courts. Great place for a family outing.

Good variety of sports activities. I'm a walker and the trails offer interesting routes and panoramas. Ample parking and multiple cover eating areas (reservable through the Parks & Rec). Modern restrooms. Interesting playground. AND a bonus of a variety of plantings using native trees. There is even an enclosed dog park with separate big or small dog areas.

Very nice Pickle Ball courts. You probably need to reserve them thru the Parks and Rec. Dept. ahead of time. There are 4 PB courts that were busy on and off and several tennis courts without a soul on them. Plenty of parking.
