My wife and I visited the Mexican Pavilion at EPCOT on our recent visit to the theme park. The exterior is really distinctive and I have always found it fascinating. The interior feels like a night market in a Mexican town. There is also a visual of a mountain in the background and there is a sort of mysterious atmosphere to the setting. There are shops and several restaurants and bars at the Mexico Pavilion. There is usually a boat ride attraction that is entertaining, but it was closed for refurbishment when we were there recently.

Every one of the countries in the World Showcase features impressive architecture but I have to say the Mexico Pavilion still stands out. You walk into a huge Aztec pyramid and into a marketplace! I love that it is always dark and cool inside even if it is 2pm in the afternoon and very sunny outside. There is a Coco exhibit just before you enter the marketplace, and you can buy Coco merchandise from the stalls and shops. We played a Coco themed game of Loteria with some CMs but sadly they said the game wasn't for sale. There is even a ride in the marketplace called Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros. It is slow boat ride with videos on Mexico. Nothing spectacular. Norway's Frozen Ever After, and France's Ratatouille rides are more exciting and lot more popular. We did not eat in the restaurant or drink at the bar.

Finally able to leave a review after a visit some years back. Mexico is one of our favorite locations in the World Showcase of Epcot. After entering, you find yourself in the middle of a Mexican village. It actually looks just like what you may encounter if you made your way into the country. Lots of little stands to purchase items, a lovely dim lit boat ride and restaurant! Really feels like Mexico!

We visited Viva Mexico while kicking off our world showcase tour. There are many authentic gifts - it felt like we were in a shop in Puerta Vallarta! The boat ride is also fun. The outside of the building is distinctive with the pyramid shape. Lots of fun!

We met up with some friends here during our recent trip to Disney. The Aztec Pyramid is one of the more impressive pieces of architecture in the World Showcase. Inside is pretty cool as well. The lobby area has some cool displays inspired by the Coco movie. Beyond that is a village market, overlooking a river with a pyramid at night in the background. The ride inside is relaxing, but not overly exciting - its a slow boat ride through tunnels with TV screens filled with Donald and friends travelling through Mexico. Not worth using a FastPass on. Make sure you have your kids do the passport activity here. Our guys loved it.
