We wanted to bike into Indianapolis and this trail allowed us to do that. We parked at Broad Ripple Park and it was a very short bike to connect to the trail. It is all paved and connects with other trails. It is mostly flat with a few road crossings. It was perfect for what we were doing.

Great city trail, north to south. Safe, fun, excellent for tourists to see the city.

Beautiful urban walking/hiking trail. A great variety of things to do and see along the way. Lots of art, sculptures, paintings, shops, restaurants, and nature along the way. It’s also dog friendly, as I saw a lot of pets along the way.

The part in Hamilton County is well maintained with lots of amenities. The part in Indy leaves very much to be desired.

Enjoyed a pleasant hike on the Midland Trace portion of the trail. Well maintained and pleasant diversion from the urban/suburban area. Several exercise venues along the trail. Well worth a visit.
