Rented E-Bikes from Prescott E-Bikes for a 2 hour period on the Iron King ... TREMENDOUS views and scenery ... Flat and level trail ... most likely hot in the summer with limited shade ... not overly busy for a Saturday ... Wow, E-Bikes are a breeze

Iron King Trail is a lovely hike through the Glassford Hill area of Prescott Valley. It will take you to the Dells in Prescott. Any length of hike is great to take. The scenery is beautiful, with clear blue skies, great trails, a extinct volcano (Glassford Hill) and plenty of plants to see along the way. Be sure to bring lots of water, and good hiking shoes. Have fun!!

This is a well used trail that accommodates bicycles and foot traffic. The scenery is spectacular, with the view of the lake along the way. There are side trails for exploring the surrounding area as well. The path is mostly fine gravel and dirt mix, and wide enough to accommodate the many bicycles that use this trail. There is a porta-potty along the way as well as a couple of benches.

My hiker bees love doing this trail! Wide open paths. Lots to see water rock formations are spectacular! Easy for everyone.

Unfortunately, houses have been built so the original trail head has been moved. Sadly, this was allowed. The trail is a long one-once you get past the houses and the MOVED rail cars, the views are pretty. If you go in summer time-take lots of water. Most of the trail , from the trail head , is not shaded. It gets hot. Nice long walk.
