Play area was great. View of river is great. Area is clean. Parking and accessibility is also great. However. The restrooms are horrible. Not sure what happened but when we went there was a Stench, so bad you could smell it from over 10 feet from the restroom. Go across the river to the visitor center. Restrooms are clean and no smell.

I stopped by briefly while visiting the Visitor's Center and the Riverwalk. All of them were a close walk to each other and conveniently close to the hotel I was staying at, the Econo Lodge San Angelo. Kids Kingdom is a clean and well-kept playground that would be a fun place for younger children.

My grand children ages 3-10 loved this playground. I have to agree it was pretty darn cool. It is across the river from the San Angelo Visitor Center and has plenty of large shade trees. Fun place for a picnic and some play time.
