Scenic river view along paved trails and awesome bridges allow our family for decades to check out the wildlife, walk the dog, and/or go canoeing (some areas of the trail have boat drops).

Stones River runs along the paved walkway at General Bragg Trailhead. The best views are when you can walk directly next to the river to see the river bend or the rapids.

We were delighted to find this trail because there was ample parking, it's well marked ad paved! Plus, there are interesting things to see along the way. We passed an active train, we learned about the Trail of Tears, we passed a field of milkweed (Monarch feeding ground and breeding territory in warmer months), and some of the relics from the nearby battlefield and cemetery. Highly recommend for a walk, jog or bike ride. Plus, there's a kids playground by the parking area for families.

Brought the kids here for a great kid event. They offer kid days throughout the summer with activities for the kids. The best thing is that it is FREE. They participated in the kids event then we took a stroll on the greenway.

General Bragg Trailhead is a fantastic park. There is a playground for the kids, and a pavilion with picnic tables. It looks like a nice place to have a child’s birthday party or a family reunion. The best part to me is the, miles of wonderful trails to walk, run, or bike on.It’s a well maintained facility with restrooms, and a spacious parking lot. It’s an excellent place for people who love to be outdoors.
