This is one of those buildings that you cannot miss. On the corner of Columbus and Kearney, it's distinctive green facade just stands out! It have over 100 years of history, but is now the home of Coppola's studio among other companies serving the film industry.

I’ve walked past this spot more times than I can count, and it still stops me every single time. There’s just something about the way that building slices into the intersection—like the city decided to make a statement right there and never backed down. You’ve got Chinatown behind you, North Beach a few steps away, downtown rising all around… and somehow this one building steals the whole scene. Daytime it’s bold, almost glowing. At night it turns cinematic—like you’re standing in the middle of a movie you didn’t plan to be in.Cars move, people pass, life keeps going—but this corner just holds its ground. It’s old San Francisco energy in the middle of everything new, and it reminds you why this city still hits the way it does.

One of my favorite North Beach restaurants (Cafe Zoetrope) is in the Sentinel Building. As such, I very much like this bullding. It is in the North Beach area. The Building also known as the Columbus Tower is a flatiron type building. It survived the 1906 earthquake.

San Francisco's version of a flatiron building, right on Market Street. It's way more interesting than most of the modern office buildings downtown.

Wonderful photo opp with the pyramid in the background. A remember of a bygone era in building design. I walked to the area from Nobb Hill and it only took 12 mins.
