I have been a part of the Kalamazoo Curling Club since day one back in 2008. We have grown so much as a club... we are now playing on dedicated curling ice which gives us the opportunity to have really good ice, and lots of league offerings. The best time to get involved is in the fall (September), though we offer learn to curl opportunities throughout the season (which typically ends in late March - early April). Good curling!

We had a corporate retreat here and had a wonderful time. The coaches/staff/volunteers who worked with our small groups were great. It was a fun experience for all with staff ages ranges from the 20's to 60's. I would take this over bowling any day! How much fun is yelling and laughing with co-workers!!

This place is a blast! The club members hold training sessions where they teach you the art of curling and you get to play a few games to practice your new skills. It is a blast and more exercise than you think watching it on tv. After a couple of hours, I'd like to go back for the social game nights on Wednesdays or maybe even join a league when they start in the fall. All you need is warm layers of clothes...fleeces are good...and comfortable or even stretchy pants along Ithaca clean pair of soft soled shoes like athletic shoes and you are good to go. By the way, this club has won the National Arena Championship twice in the last three years so not only are they fun, but they are good! And they are good teacher/coaches.
