We attended a wedding reception for the first time in the Maddox-Muse Center. The festivities took place in the Van Cliburn Recital Hall. It was quite a thrill to be in the area named for one of the greatest pianists of all times. The venue was a beautiful setting for a festive evening of good food and dancing. From the moment we entered the atmosphere was elegant and sophisticated. Staff were well placed to help everyone to maneuver around the building. My only concern was that there was only one coat rack designed to hold about 30 coats. On a cold, windy night in Fort Worth with over one hundred guests, attendees began just piling the coats on the rack as well as they possibly could. I commented to a staff member that another rack was needed but was only met with a stare. So I tied our coats together with my scarf and prayed that someone did not mistake my gray coat as theirs.
