This is such a hidden gem! I was looking for fun things to do for our family staycation, and this park popped up in one of my searches. We did the Greenleaf - George & Guy Hike (2.5 mile loop). We parked at the trailhead and went to the right. The hike started out downhill and then got steep on the uphill with significant drop offs to the left. I would not take young children on this hike as there is no barrier to prevent falling down the mountain and the trail is rough. We absolutely loved the challenge of the terrain and the views (near Monterey Bay) were excellent. The “trail” also includes some street walking, and it was nice to see some of the Mt. Washington neighborhood that was not right on Grandview. I downloaded the trail map to my phone before we started out and was glad that we had it as the trail was not always well marked, especially when we got to the street sections. We will definitely do this hike again and maybe explore some of the other trails on our next visit.

Beautiful views of the city! Even right on the street a quiet place to sit and enjoy the views. Great overlook to see the city.

Created on Earth Day 2017, this regional u-shaped park is located around the neighborhoods of Duquesne Heights, Mount Washington, and Allentown. I visited the Point of View park part within this larger park. It was there that I discovered part of one of the park's 4 suggested hikes that I'd like to try the next time I return called the Greenleaf -- The George & Guy Hike (2.5 mile loop). While I visited back in February, I was also able to see the Point of View statue. Two other art pieces in the park I'd like to see on a future trip are the Fish Mosaic located within Olympia Park and Statue Untitled located within Grandview Park.

My wife and I went for a hike after getting off the lift. It was very wooded with trees for being in such an urban environment. Nice views or the river, Heinz Field, PNC Park, Casino, and downtown. The hiking trails are rather short and on the hilly side. If you walk daily you should be able to do the hike no problem. Would not recommend for small children because of the hills and a stroller would not work on the trails. I am always trying to find a place to hike when I'm on vacation and this was small, but gave me a short reprieve from the city. Pittsburgh is a great city, I just like to hike.

Besides the fact that there is a small Disc Golf Course here, there isn't much else it has to offer. It is a nice place for a stroll or sit and read and it is very picturesque but don't expect lots of fun stuff for kids. The trees are gorgeous and it's fairly quiet. It's a nice place for a round of Disc Golf or a romantic walk with your favorite person. It is a little hilly so not an easy stroll by the way.
