On March 19th, my husband, our pup, and I parked by the boat ramp and walked about a mile to the kids’ park and pavilion. It’s a lovely spot for a bike ride or a walk. The weather was perfect, making it a beautiful day to be outside.

What a great find!! We’re passing through the area and needed to get some steps in and this is the park we chose. The trails go on forever and there’s something for everyone…trails, fishing spots, picnic area, pavilions, sandy beaches, a large playground, a beautiful lookout…this is just the best!

Amerson has become my favorite place to escape to. Lovely setting for a wedding. I noticed picnic benches, some we're under very nice canopies, I did see set up grills that are there, you can't bring your own. Overall a very lovely part, convenient parking.

We went late in the day so the park was very quiet! But it was beautiful and a great place to relax and chill. There are a bunch of little play areas for kids and adults can have a great time with water-related activities.
