Parents Beware this splash pad is a badly designed dangerous very very slick piece of concrete.We took our young grandson here March 2023 and he fell slipped landed on his back his head slammed into the concrete and we were only there not even 5 minutes, we took him to the children’s emergency room.We have been to many many splash pads this is by far the worst one ever,whoever designed this splash pad 9 years ago didn’t have safety in mind, I’ve seen splash pads that the concrete is gritty for gripping purposes and so that children don’t fall.Never again will we ever come back to this splash pad.Sincerely,Traumatized

We had never heard of this park before and were looking for somewhere to take a young one fishing.This came up in our search so we drove from out of town during the week to check it out.It was easy to find and we were pleasantly surprised at the layout and all the things it encompassed. There is a parking lot fairly close to the fishing ponds which is on one side of the park.We got our gear and walked down and found a very clean fishing area. There is a pier and boat ramp for kayaks, which they rent on the weekends.There was no one fishing so we fished quite a while but at the end of the time only caught a tiny bass. We saw turtles and small fish but still glad we tried it out.The two ponds are separated by a walkway and dam. One pond has the pier and is larger than the other pond. We were told by a local that he has caught good size fish (not keeper size though) in the smaller pond more frequently than the larger pond.Close to the ponds is an activity center building, restrooms, gift shop, large sandbox, cornhole, large connect four, building blocks, a small lending library station and a very nice garden maze with butterfly benches where you can read a book or relax.Walking up hill on the paved pathways you will make your way to the picnic table/pavilion area. There is a spray park here, which was not working when we arrived, and a large playground area with a variety of equipment to interest younger and older kiddos.The day we visited was not real crowded but imaging it does get crowded during the summer and on the weekends.This is a very nice park with plenty of paved walking paths around the ponds, pavilion, picnic tables, and playground area.Parking lots are also available around these areas so parking was not an issue.

Has a fishing lake, a splash pad, and several play structures for bigger and older kids. Younger kids area is shaded.

This park was a hit for my whole family. The playgrounds, fishing, walking trails, and feeding the ducks were great. The best thing about this park is the splash pad area. Kids of all ages can and will enjoy this park. We will be back.

This park offers playground equipment that is enticing for all ages. It offers a fishing pond and a walking path to see indiginous plants. One of the highlights is the splash pad. This is a great place to rent a pavillion and have a party for children. Use of the park and all facilities is free. There is a fee if you wish to rent a pavillion but it is not necessary. The park has lights if you are still playing or walking after dark.
