tripadvisorEasy hike to the Falls. Overall good experience. Ok Falls
MoreUphill but easy stroll to an epic waterfall. Fairly crowded for September but temperatures are comfortable in the morning hours.
MoreThe falls was absolutely amazing!! It’s a 1mi hike mostly uphill but once to the top you get rewarded with the most beautiful waterfall!! It’s a must do!!
MoreNice easy 1.2 miles out and back trail to a gorgeous waterfall.there is about 235 feetin elevation gain but it is on a gradual paved trail. Perfect for seniors or families with young kids. The drive to the trailhead is also very scenic.
MoreAbsolutely gorgeous and worth seeing! I’m visiting Bozeman from out of town and wanted to visit the Palisade Falls due to its close proximity to where we were staying. I took a small suv rental car and the drive was super easy and very scenic. The roads are now fully paved, and there’s one sign that indicates a left turn to get to the parking lot that leads to the trail. The trail itself is also fully paved, very accessible for strollers and easy to walk on. We weren’t prepared for the “bear country” signage and recommendation to bring bear spray, but we managed to start the trail at the same time as another group who had bear spray and they were gracious enough to let us walk with them to ease my mind. My 6 & 8 year old absolutely loved this short, easy hike. The views were incredible and the waterfall is gorgeous. My kids loved climbing the rocks to get closer to the water, and there’s a small cave area that we were also able to explore. We did this trail mid October, at 1pm in 75 degree weather and it was perfect, truly an unforgettable experience.
