I came across this attraction on trip advisor and thought ‘why not’. So glad we went and walked the bridge. Walked over to Arkansas so now can say I’ve been there , it’s a great and easy walk. With beautiful views of the river and the city.

This walk is not for all people. It is a very long walk so be prepared. Bring a water, good walking shoes. It is so cool that one end starts in TN and the other end ends in Arkansas. We had three teenagers with us. We got about alittle over 3/4 the way and turned back. We could have finished but they seemed bored. It was so nice and breezy for being 80 degrees. You can take some great pictures on the bridge. The Mississippi River run under it. If you like going for walks and being outdoors this is for you!

This is the attractive bridge across the Mississippi River that I had to drive in my rental car because I was determined to touch Arkansas. There were some good views of the river from the bridge which is quite high in the air.

A very nice hike with great views. Not too busy, watch out for fast moving cyclists. It is free. Only thing it needs public restrooms at least at one of the bridge entrances. The AK side of the bridge spans a ways inland before reaching ground.

I'm just getting back into making healthier choices, my husband and dog and I walked most of the way before my dog got tired and was nervous about the train (he's never heard one or been near one before). We almost made to the other side of the bridge in Arkansas. Maybe another time. Lots of walkers and bikers and runners.
